Dr. Joshua Davis, DDS, d.abdsm

Dentist, with a specialty in Dental Sleep Medicine

Originally from Chappaqua, NY, Dr. Davis graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Biology. He then received his degree from the NYU College of Dentistry in 2011, continuing his education at Weill Cornell Medical Center with a General Practice Residency in 2012. After five years of gaining experience and refining his skills in private practice, Dr. Davis established Metro Dental in 2017.

His practice focuses on family dental care, sleep dentistry, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, with an emphasis on compassionate care. Patients are the top priority at Metro Dental, and Dr. Davis works hard to ensure a stress-free, comfortable environment for everyone. With so much experience under his belt, Dr. Davis can handle all types of dental problems. He also believes in giving back, and has participated in mission trips in Central America for underserved populations.

Dr. Davis has been rated as a top dentist in NY Westchester magazine every year since 2019, recognizing his commitment to providing quality dental care to the community. Along with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Dr. Davis is also an active member of the American Dental Association, the New York Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

After seeing how many of his patients suffered from sleep apnea and snoring problems, Dr. Davis began his study of helping patients through dental sleep medicine. Dental sleep medicine uses an oral appliance therapy to treat patients suffering from sleep-disordered breathing. Unlike other treatment options, these appliances are non-invasive, comfortable to wear, and aren’t noisy.

Dr. Davis is a Diplomate with the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, which is the highest level of training in the field. Less than 1% of dentists in the country have this distinction, and Dr. Davis is the only Diplomate in Westchester County. He also is on the Practice Management and Patient Resource Review Committee which sets guidelines for good practice within the field.

Dr. Davis enjoys theater and concerts in his free time. He also loves running, cycling, and practicing yoga. He also likes taking long walks with his French Bulldog, Louie.
