
Dr. Paula Ancelson, DMD
Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Ancelson graduated from The Cooper Union in 2007 with a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering. In 2011, she graduated with a degree in dentistry from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. However, Dr. Ancelson discovered her true passion for working with children while training in general dentistry at Weill Cornell Medical Center and Montefiore Medical Center. After completing her specialty residency in pediatric dentistry at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in 2015, Dr. Ancelson became Board Certified in 2016 and has worked in private practice since then.
Dr. Ancelson is now the director of Pediatric Dentistry at New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she educates residents and provides comprehensive care to children and patients with special needs. As an active member of the American Dental Association, Northeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Ancelson is committed to educating patients in proper dental care and oral health.
Dr. Ancelson has worked in private practice for five years, providing preventive, restorative, and early orthodontic care for children of all ages. She believes in building the foundations of optimal oral health early on, educating parents and children in dental care in a fun, approachable way.
